These are the characters on Linux under the Mozilla browser that are used for editing.

Editor Keystrokes (control key)

  • p - go up a line
  • n - go down a line
  • e - goto end of line
  • a - goto beginning of line
  • f - forward a character
  • b - back a character
  • h - delete previous char
  • d - delete next char
  • k - delete to end of line, or if empty on the right then move next line up
  • c - copy
  • x - cut
  • v - paste
  • u - clear line
  • z - undo
  • r - redo

  • o - open
  • i - info
  • t - new tab

  • 1-6 - new window for browser, mail, composer, etc.
